SALE OF SMELTER REVERTS BY TENDER
KCM has at its Nkana Smelter about 18,000 to 20,000 mt of reverts from its closed smelter. These reverts are in two qualities namely,
- High Grade Copper Reverts with copper ranging from 20 to 28% and quantity is about 7,000 to 8,000 mt. Size ranges from fine to lumps of up to 24x20 inches.
- Lean Copper Reverts with copper from 4 to 15% and quantity is 11,000 to 12,000 mt. Size also ranges from fine to lumps of up to 24x20 inches.
KCM would prefer to sell the said reverts on as-is basis and on FCA term with payment by the Buyer against a Holding Certificate. We will prefer to conclude the sale by third week of July for collection of all the reverts by the buyers within July and completion by mid-August and not beyond.
