All contractors are required to support their obligations and indemnities to KCM with the following, minimum Insurance Cover:

1. Insurance of the Works – the contractor is legally required to insure the Works against loss and or damage, however the loss and/or damage may occur, subject to an agreed deductible.

2. Third Party Insurance – against all claims from members of the general public for injury, death, and or property damage.

3. Employer's Liability – in respect of claims arising from the contractor's employees, for injury and/or death during execution of their work.

4. Workmen's compensation.

Note: It is a requirement of KCM Contract Conditions that the above minimum Insurance Policies are drawn up and issued in the joint names of KCM and the contractor.
